Can I use the newly purchased water bottle right away?

On our website, fans come to leave messages every day. Yesterday I read a message asking if the water cup I just bought can be used immediately. In fact, as a manufacturer of stainless steel and plastic water cups, I often see people simply rinse the purchased stainless steel water cups or plastic water cups with hot water and start trying them. In fact, this is wrong. So why can’t the newly purchased water cup be used immediately? We will discuss with you in detail the classification of different materials.

1. Stainless steel water cup

Has anyone ever wondered how many processes are involved in the production of stainless steel water cups? In fact, the editor has not counted them in detail, there are probably dozens. Due to the characteristics of the production process and multiple processes, there will be some unnoticeable residual oil stains or electrolyte residue stains on the inner tank of the stainless steel water cup. These oil stains and residual stains cannot be completely cleaned simply by washing them with water. At this time, we can remove the removable and washable components of the cup, prepare a basin of warm water with neutral detergent, soak all components in the water, and after a few minutes, use a soft dish brush or cup brush to scrub each accessory. . If you don’t have time to soak, after wetting the accessories, dip the brush in detergent and scrub directly, but try to refresh it several times.

2. Plastic water cup

In life, many people buy new water cups, whether stainless steel, plastic, or glass, and they like to put them directly into the pot to cook. We once exported a batch of plastic cups to South Korea. At that time, we submitted a report that the cups could be filled with 100°C water. However, during the customs inspection, they directly put the cups into the pot for boiling. However, plastic water cups are not suitable for boiling, even if they are made of Tritan. It’s not possible, because during the boiling process, the edge temperature of the boiling vessel can reach close to 200°C, and once the plastic material comes into contact, it will deform. Therefore, when cleaning plastic water cups, it is recommended to use warm water at 60°C, add neutral detergent, soak them completely for a few minutes, and then clean them with a brush. If you don’t have time to soak, after wetting the accessories, dip the brush in detergent and scrub directly, but try to refresh it several times.

3. Glass/ceramic mug

Currently, these two water cup materials can be sterilized by boiling. However, if the glass is not made of high borosilicate, remember to rinse it directly with cold water after boiling, as this may cause the glass to burst. In fact, water cups made of these two materials can also be cleaned in the same way as stainless steel and plastic water cups.
